Key 2026 Updates

Passenger Tyres

Growth continues across multiple segments:

  •  Metric Radial Ply – continues to grow slowly but steadily, particularly in the lower profile and high-performance ranges
  •  “HL” (High Load) Radial  – a relatively new range that is expanding quite rapidly as  Vehicle Manufacturers can utilise existing tyre size envelopes but with a greater load Capacity.  Low-profile high-performance sizes are growing quite rapidly.
  • P Type Radial Ply sizes have been relocated to the Supplementary Data Section at the back of the Manual as Obsolete Data.

Radial Light Truck

  • Ongoing strong growth in Metric Normal Highway and High Flotation ranges.
  • Expansion is most notable in larger sizes.
